Your Outdated Systems Are Costing You Real Money.

Better processes. Better accessibility. Less wasted time.

As a business owner, it's easy to spend most of your time focused on the front end of your business—making sales, hiring new employees, finding new customers, and figuring out how to grow.

After all, those are the things that make money.

But there's another side of growth that doesn't get talked about nearly as much:

How much money are you already losing because of the way work gets done behind the scenes?

Let's start with the age-old saying, “Time is money.”

As a business owner, one of the most valuable assets you have is time—not only your own, but your employees' time as well. The more effectively your team can use that time, the more opportunity you have to grow.

More time doesn't just mean more productivity.

More time can mean more money.

If you're using systems that are tiresome, disconnected, or problematic, they're not only annoying your employees. They may be costing your business considerably more than you realize.

For example, let's say an employee spends an entire day trying to fix a software issue or get the CRM to cooperate. If you're paying that employee $37.17 an hour and they work eight hours, that's $297.36 in wages before you even consider the lost productivity.

That could have been the day that employee landed a major client, developed a great idea for a new marketing campaign, solved a customer problem, or—if we're really lucky—made the company's first viral social media post.

Now multiply that across an entire organization.

If your CRM, document accessibility process, financial forecasting software, contract management system, or other critical technology is outdated or disconnected—and most of your employees interact with it every day—the cost can add up quickly.

And it doesn't have to consume an entire day to become expensive.

Maybe it's 15 minutes trying to find the right file.

Another 10 minutes entering information into a second system.

Then 20 minutes trying to figure out why the numbers don't match.

None of those things sounds catastrophic on its own.

But if they happen every day, you're paying for them every day.

Say you have 10 employees and each loses just half an hour a day to inefficient processes. At that same example hourly rate, that's $185.85 a day.

Across 20 working days, that's $3,717 a month spent on time that could have gone toward something more valuable.

And that's before counting the time you spend helping everyone figure it out.

Sometimes the Problem Isn't Your People. It's the Process.

This happens because companies don't always realize how much productivity they're losing. Or they know their technology isn't working well, but assume changing it will be expensive, disruptive, or difficult for employees to learn.

Sometimes making a change does take work.

Information may need to be moved. Employees may need training. Processes may need to change.

But here's the part businesses often overlook:

Keeping the old process has a cost too. You're just paying for it a little bit at a time.

Software has come a long way, with more emphasis being placed on making systems intuitive and easier to use.

We can't speak for every software company, but that's something both Konnect 2 Solutions and ADAComplyPDF believe technology should accomplish.

Technology shouldn't create more work.

It should remove it.

That's Where Konnect 2 Solutions Comes In.

At Konnect 2 Solutions, we don't believe businesses should have to completely change the way they operate just to fit into another piece of off-the-shelf software.

We build software around the way the business already works.

That might mean connecting contracts and approvals, improving financial forecasting and reporting, automating billing, bringing information from multiple departments together, or eliminating repetitive processes employees are currently handling manually.

Sometimes the biggest problem isn't that a company has outdated software.

It's that it has too much software.

One system handles contracts.

Another handles finance.

Another handles approvals.

Then there are three spreadsheets holding everything together—and somebody inevitably says:

“Don't touch that spreadsheet. Susan built it in 2014 and nobody knows how it works.”

If your employees are constantly jumping between systems, entering the same information multiple times, searching through emails for approvals, or manually putting together reports, there may be a much better way to operate.

That's what Konnect 2 Solutions looks for.

We aren't asking, “What software can we sell you?”

We're asking:

“Where is your business losing time?”

Documents Can Have the Same Problem.

That's where our friends at ADAComplyPDF come into the conversation.

Organizations—especially colleges and universities, government entities, healthcare organizations, and other document-heavy environments—can have hundreds or even thousands of PDFs that need to be identified, organized, reviewed, remediated, and managed.

Without the right process, someone may be tracking those documents in spreadsheets, opening files individually, trying to remember what has already been reviewed, and figuring out what changed when someone uploads another version.

ADAComplyPDF brings PDF organization, auditing, manual editing, and automated remediation into the VORA Dashboard, giving teams a clearer way to manage that work.

You still need people and expertise involved in the process.

But finding, organizing, and managing the work shouldn't take longer than doing the work itself.

And That's Why These Two Companies Fit Together.

Konnect 2 Solutions and ADAComplyPDF solve different problems, but we share a very similar philosophy.

Make complicated work simpler.

Konnect 2 Solutions looks at the operational side of an organization—how information moves between people, departments, systems, approvals, contracts, finances, and reporting.

ADAComplyPDF specializes in another important piece of that environment: helping organizations manage and improve the accessibility of their PDF documents.

We don't need to duplicate what the other company does well.

Instead, we can each focus on our specialty while helping organizations solve a much bigger problem.

Better processes. Better accessibility. Less wasted time.

There's Another Cost Businesses Rarely Calculate.

What happens when the one employee who understands the process leaves?

If only one person knows where everything is, which spreadsheet needs to be updated, or how to convince the software to cooperate, the process can grind to a halt when they're unavailable.

Good technology shouldn't live inside one employee's head.

A system that other people can understand makes it easier to train employees, transfer knowledge, and keep the organization moving without someone answering the same questions every week.

So, Is Your Technology Costing You Money?

There's a surprisingly simple way to start finding out:

Ask the people who use it.

What takes longer than it should?

What do they have to fix repeatedly?

Where are they entering the same information twice?

What requires a spreadsheet because the existing software can't handle it?

What do they wish happened automatically?

And perhaps our favorite question:

“What makes you say, ‘There has to be an easier way to do this’?”

Those answers tell you where to start.

Then put a number on it.

How many minutes does the problem take?

How often does it happen?

How many employees are doing it?

What does that time cost?

Compare that number with the cost of fixing the process.

You may discover that the technology you thought was too expensive is actually cheaper than the workaround you're already paying for.

And you don't have to replace everything overnight.

Start with the problem that keeps coming up.

Fix it.

Measure what changed.

Then move to the next one.

Because making more money doesn't always require another salesperson, another marketing campaign, or another client.

Sometimes the biggest opportunity is already inside your organization.

Give your people better tools. Give them their time back. And see what they can do with it.
