Pre-submission PDF checklist
- Confirm the final version of every PDF deliverable and remove obsolete drafts from the submission set.
- Review headings, reading order, forms, tables, links, language, and meaningful alternatives.
- Retain the remediated file and its report under the same document identifier or release record.
- Document any judgment-based checks or exceptions outside the automated report.
- Confirm with the contracting officer how PDF evidence should be reflected in the procurement package.

What the report can and cannot show
A report can show the automated checks represented by the workflow and provide a record associated with the output. It cannot establish that an entire product, service, or procurement response conforms to Section 508. Keep the document-level evidence in proportion to the claim being made.
